Return to March 2009 Articles

Date Posted: 30/03/2009 12:19:18 by ECHA

ECHA are organising a free one day seminar, Solving Microbial Contamination Problems In Automotive Diesel, to share experience and review best practice for prevention and control of microbial contamination problems in automotive diesels. Since the more widespread use of biodiesels in automotive fuel there has been an increase in filter clogging and other operational problems for transport operators, retail sites and fuel storage terminals. The seminar will discuss the reasons for these problems and the strategies available to control and treat contamination. Speakers from ECHA, Eurotank Environmental, SBZ Corporation, Schulke and Tesco will be available to answer questions. The seminar will be held at Schulke Training Centre in Sheffield. Please follow the link on our home page for more information or contact sales@echamicrobiology.co.uk

Thank you to all who attended the Seminar. We feel it was a great success with over 50 people from a broad range of fuel suppliers, management companies, retailers and users. We will write a review and post on our website asap. In the meantime please contact us if you want further information or there are questions you forgot to ask. We would also like to thank Schulke+ for hosting the Seminar and the excellent arrangements at the venue and Aubrey Burrows (Tesco), Ed Wheeler (Eurotank), Pete Bluemell (SBZ), Ingo Krull (Schulke+) for their excellent presentations.
