All the views, opinions and advice offered or inferred within this web site are those of ECHA MICROBIOLOGY LTD and are believed to be correct according to the state of the art and best practice at the time of compilation. ECHA MICROBIOLOGY LTD will not be held responsible for actions taken, loss, damage or injury incurred as a result of using our test kits or acting on information obtained within these web pages.
The test kits offered are designed to detect groups of microorganisms of industrial significance although there may be some microorganisms present which are not detected by the tests, for example those which grow best at unusually high or low temperatures. The results of these tests only relate to the sample tested and not necessarily to the whole system sampled. The validity of samples and the interpretation of test results are the responsibility of the test user and not ECHA Microbiology Ltd. Test kits are for use only according to the instructions issued or as varied by written agreement with ECHA. They are not designed for drug, houshold or other use.In accordance with the terms and conditions of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 the written consent of ECHA Microbiology Ltd must be obtained before reproducing and or publishing any part of the content of this web site.

PRIVACY POLICY
ECHA are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process orders and to provide a more tailored service.
What do we do with the information we collect?
When you order, we need to know your name, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, delivery address, invoicing address and number of test kits that you wish to order. This allows us to process, price and fulfil your order as well as notify you of your order status.
We will need to divulge some of this information to our carrier to fulfil your order request.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. ACCEPTANCE
We contract to do business solely upon the following conditions not withstanding anything to the contrary contained or purported to be contained in any document or oral statement made by the part contracting with us and no variation or alteration of these conditions shall be of any effect unless agreed in writing by us.
2. PRICES
A. Quotations are subject to confirmation of receipt of order, and we reserve the right to amend any accidental errors and/or omissions on quotations or invoices.
B. Both quoted and printed prices are based on prices, rates of exchange, freight and insurance charges at the date of offer.
C. In cases where condition change between the date of quotation and the date of dispatch by us the right is reserved to revise prices accordingly and invoice at the price ruling at the time of dispatch.
D. All orders are subject to a delivery and handling charge.
E. An administration charge may be levied on orders of low value.
3. DELIVERY & CARRIAGE
We are currently unable to provide delivery charges for all product / despatch addresses in advance of placing orders. The following delivery charges will normally apply for next day mainland UK deliveries;
- Upto 5 kilos £15.00
- 6-10 kilos £19.50
- 11-20 kilos £24.95
Your delivery charge will be confirmed on placing your order. Please note biocides may require additional delivery conditions and charges.
Nearly all items are available ex-stock and can be delivered next day within UK and to the rest of the world within 1-5 days depending on location. Whilst every effort will be made to adhere to delivery dates, we accept no liability in the case of non-delivery or delayed delivery.
4. DAMAGE OR LOSS IN TRANSIT
Partial loss or damage in transit must be reported in writing within one week of precept of goods. In the event of non-delivery both carriers and ourselves must be informed in writing within fourteen days of dispatch.
5. STORAGE OR ERRORS
No claims will be entertained unless notification is given in writing within one week of precept of consignment.
6. TERMS OF PAYMENT
For customers who do not hold an account with us, payment in advance will be requested.
For account holders, accounts are payable within 30 days of invoice. Failure to comply with our 30 day credit terms, can result in additional charges being raised (to within legal limits). Failure to comply with our 30 day credit terms, can result in withdrawal of a credit facilities for future orders. Invoices are payable in full and no deductions may be made unless a credit note has previously been issued. The right is always reserved to request remittance with order and where new accounts are involved two trade references may be requested and or payment in advance against proforma invoice may be required payment to be made in GBP free of bank charges, transfer charges and currency conversion charges. The company reserves the right to raise a charge where the customer's chosen method of payment results in any charges to ECHA microbiology ltd as a result of payment.
7. RESERVATION OF TITLE
The property in any goods supplied shall not pass to the customers and the customers shall keep the goods as trustees for the sellers (returning the same to the sellers upon request) until the price of the goods shall have been wholly paid and until any sums whatsoever which are due from the contract or previous contracts or however otherwise shall have been paid in full without any reduction on account of any disputes or cross claims whatsoever.
8. JURISDICTION OF LAW
Any order placed over the ECHA Microbiology Ltd web site will be deemed to have taken place at the premises of ECHA Microbiology Ltd in Cardiff UK. Any transaction or contract will be subject to uk legal jurisdiction and uk law. No other law other than UK law will apply to any part or whole of any undertaking resulting from the use of this web site.
